Long Live the Beautiful Hearts (Beautiful Hearts #2) by Emma Scott

Summary of Book: Connor and Weston come back from war, both injured and in love with her. She’s determined to steer clear of both of them for equally shattering her heart but when Weston needs help and Connor isn’t in the mental space to be there for him, she steps up and in stepping up, she falls with him as well.

If I had to describe this book in one word, only one word, I would use the word magnificent.
If I had to describe this book in more than one word, use a cluster of words, I would use words like poetic, hauntingly beautiful, gut wrenching, and pure.

Never before have I read a book where I was to attached to it from the very beginning. Never have I ever read a book where I felt like my actual heart was breaking into a million pieces off of a story based on fictional characters. Never have I ever read a book where I wanted it to be a true story. Never have I ever read a book where I wanted actual people to go through the situations in a book because the reward at the end, the pure bliss and happiness and unrelenting love they achieve at the end is something that I feel like I will be longing for the rest of my existence.

The story from start to finish is one that I will never forget. It is one that I will hold up for every other book I read from this point on. It is a story that has raised my bar so damned high, I don’t see any other book ever reaching this one.

The up and down emotions that this book put me through was heartbreaking but again, the ending was well worth it. I would travel through the hot ass desert of Syria or struggle through working on a farm for the rest of my life if this ending, this feeling that I got from this book was waiting for me at the end.

Read it.

Trust me.

I have so much to tell you, but you will only understand if you read this yourself.
